Mother nature may have given the Steelers a boost by delivering a pending ice storm to Kansas City that has resulted in the game being moved back from 1:05 pm to 8:20 pm. Either way the Steelers would be playing in front of a national audience, but there is something about playing under the lights that brings out the very best of the Steelers. With a record of 32-16 in prime time since 2006, and 4-0 this season, the Steelers always seem to crank it up two more notches in that setting. Tyreek Allen and Travis Kelce will look to keep KC close, but the Steelers have too many weapons of their own, along with a defense that leads the league in sacks since week 9.
Pittsburgh is hungry for a seventh Super Bowl championship and they want to eat. Ryan Shazier and that defense will feed. The Steelers are on a roll similar to that in 2005, and that roll doesn’t figure to end in KC during a prime time game. LeVeon Bell continues his postseason dominance and rolls up 200+ total yards, Ryan Shazier and the defense feeds, while Ben and Brown hook up for more of their antics. The Chiefs will keep it close early, but the Steelers pull away late for a 31-20 win.
